ADOPTION PLAN
SERVICE FEES & DETAILS
Fees based on individual plan

Meet with the prospective parents, either in person or by telephone, to discuss family needs and circumstances.

Evaluate the family’s situation using the exclusive Plan to Adopt Adoption Assessment Questionnaire and personal meetings.

Formulate a written plan for each family that is unique to that family. This plan will include recommendations for at least 3 specific adoption programs, including countries, agencies and/or attorneys. The plan will outline potential costs, financing plans and prospective wait times.

Help the family choose the appropriate program based upon their unique Plan to Adopt written plan.

Does NOT include services that would necessarily be provided by a licensed social worker, such as a home study, or legal services or advice. Does NOT include actual adoption services such as those provided by licensed adoption agencies. Also, does NOT include travel to other states or countries to receive the child or accompany the parent to receive the child.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Coaching/Consulting Services: $50 per hour

Coaching and Consulting Services are incurred after the delivery of the Plan to Adopt adoption plan and prior to the receipt of the adopted child or when a prospective family needs specific help during the adoption process. Services may include contacting the adoption agency, attorney, social worker and/or homestudy agency when necessary; consulting and supporting the prospective adoptive parents throughout the homestudy process; helping them to meet BCIS requirements; preparing the prospective family’s adoption profile for use by an adoption agency or website; and other help that may be necessary to prepare the final dossier. Does not include actual dossier preparation services.

 
Courier Services $25 per document

Includes courier services to the Florida Secretary of State, located in Tallahassee, FL. A minimum of $100 will be required to make the trip. Trips are scheduled only once per week. Does NOT include the fees charged by the Secretary of State for certification of documents or the express mail fees to return certified documents to prospective parents.
